We are proud to offer our 5-star rated Yoga Alliance 200-Hour teacher training program that merges principles of traditional Hatha Yoga techniques and philosophy with Tibetan Buddhist concepts. It is not only for those who aspire to be tomorrow’s great yoga teachers, but for those who aspire to deepen their knowledge and learn the what, how, and why of Hatha Yoga beyond the physical practice, and those who aspire to lead happy, balanced and integrated lives.

Yoga Asana – learn 2 unique sequences
Teaching methodology and practicum
Clear verbal cues and voice technique
Working with prenatal students
Embodied anatomy specific to yoga practice
Subtle anatomy including Chakras Nadis and Prana
Yoga philosophy and Buddhist philosophy
Sanskrit for chanting and teaching asana

“The Hatha Yoga Pradipika” translation by the Bihar School
“Eastern Body Western Mind” by Anodea Judith
“Jivamukti Yoga: Practices for Liberating Body & Mind” by Sharon Gannnon & David Life

HOW TO PREPARE:
OUTSIDE REQUIREMENTS DURING TEACHER TRAINING:
Take 20 classes at Republic of Yoga (included with tuition). Meditate for 5 minutes a day (minimum). Observe 2 classes at Republic of Yoga.
